About Us

Chris Leyden fell in love with journalism at about the time it started dying (coincidence? Probably not) and has since aspired to be a sports writer. His favorite teams include the New York Jets and New York Islanders, and when he is bored during the summer he likes the New York Yankees. Chris currently blogs on Bleacher Report and his personal website on the Islanders, The Lonely Islanders. He has been featured on FoxSports.com's NHL front page and on the San Francisco Chronicle's website. Chris is the resident NHL expert of the group, and is not afraid to admit he knows little to nothing about the NBA. To contact Chris, email him here.

Mike Gasper is a man who needs only three things in life: Celtics basketball, Peyton Manning, and Erin Andrews. An avid Celtics and NBA fan, one who will happily tell Derek Fisher to take a hike if he ever crosses paths with him, Mike thinks he knows everything about the modern game. He also will defend Peyton Manning's legacy until the day he dies (Tom Brady and his haircut can join Fisher). And Erin Andrews, well that needs no explanation. A fan of violence and general bad-assery, Mike is doing all he can to try and learn more about the NHL. Until then, he has Chris Leyden guiding the way. Mike has written for ESPN980.com. You can reach him by email here.

Mark Sanchez is not the quarterback of the New York Jets. He is an aspiring journalist and student at the University of Maryland who happens to share a name and rugged good looks with the Jets’ signal caller. A New Jersey product out of his element in Maryland, Mark’s a dedicated Yankees, Jets and Big East fan. As producer of the show, Mark will work to temper Mike Gasper’s inane ramblings and Chris Leyden’s silly desire to talk about hockey all the time. Mark has worked with several small newspapers and his experience includes an internship with Scout.com. He is always available to talk, whether it be sports-related, relationship advice or just general complaints about Gasper’s questionable character. He can be reached here.
